The Truck parade
Today, relief began to arrive. Both Mayor Nagin and my old boss John Breaux praised the man in charge of military relief, General . Nagin called him a "John Wayne" dude who was making things happen.
There is a glimmer of hope for the people abandoned by their country. An MRE and a bottle of water each at the NOCC.
If this was a truck parade to accompany Rex's visit....
