Nagin: Now get off your asses and fix this

As an aside, Nagin indicated in the interview that the airlift out of Plaquemines was depositing victims in New Orleans, "and we don't have anything here." saying the "poor people of Plaquemines" had all of his sympathy.
"I have no idea what [federal officials] are doing, but I'll tell you this...God is looking down on all of this and if they are not doing everything in their power to save people, they will pay the price, because every day that passes people are dying...by the hundreds.
"Now get off your asses and fix this. Let's do something and let's fix the biggest goddam crisis in the history of this country," an emotional New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin pleaded Thursday night in a radio interview.
